What’s changed from v2
If you have used the previous Cadenzabox admin at admin.cadenzabox.com, this page maps what you know onto the Mercury admin at admin.cadenza.box. The v2 admin has its own help centre at help.cadenzabox.com.
The big changes
- Organisations. Mercury is multitenant. Your library is an organisation with a slug, shown at the top of the sidebar. See Glossary.
- Releases and recordings vs albums and tracks. The canonical data you ingest (releases, recordings) is now separate from the catalogue copies your clients browse (albums, tracks). For a single organisation they stay in step automatically; the split is what makes subpublishing possible. See Releases and recordings.
- Subpublishing. Share a label or catalogue with a partner organisation under a publishing agreement, and track each release as it is delivered, accepted and published.
- Exports. Audio and metadata exports are jobs you can watch, with per track errors and delivery to a link, Dropbox or an SFTP server.
- Taxonomy is its own section, with tag order, limits, autocomplete, similarity and mapping tools.
- Publishers are first class, with shares that can be overridden per agreement.
- API keys replace shared passwords for integrations. See API access.
- Light and dark mode, a collapsible sidebar and a global search (
⌘K/Ctrl K).
