Ingestigator

Ingestigator is Cadenzabox’s desktop app for uploading audio and artwork at scale. It sends files straight to your organisation’s cloud storage, where Mercury matches them to your tracks by filename.

Get the app

Open the user menu at the bottom of the admin sidebar and choose Get Ingestigator app, or go to Ingest → Ingestigator. Download the build for macOS, Windows or Linux.

Use it

  1. Sign in with your admin account.
  2. Add the folder or files to upload. Filenames must match the TRACK: Audio Filename and ALBUM: Artwork Filename values in your metadata CSV.
  3. Let the upload finish.
  4. In the admin, go to Ingest → Assets and click Rescan audio (Ingestigator) and Rescan packshots.

Your organisation’s Asset source must be set to Ingestigator for rescans to look in the right place; see Deliver audio and artwork.
