Batch edit tracks
Change many tracks at once from Library → Tracks.
Not yet switched on for every organisation
The row checkboxes that start a batch edit do not appear in every admin yet. Ask [email protected] if you need a bulk change; publishing and unpublishing whole albums is available to everyone under Albums.
- Tick the tracks in the list. The header checkbox selects the page; hold Shift to select a range.
- Click Batch edit in the toolbar.
- Each card in the dialog is switched off until you enable it, so only the fields you enable are changed:
- Publish / Unpublish everything in the batch.
- Description.
- Tags, with Add (keep existing tags) or Replace (remove all other tags).
- Composers, with Add or Replace.
- Key and BPM.
- Click Batch update.
Description, key, BPM and composers only apply to tracks your organisation originally published; on subpublished tracks only tags and published state change.
Other bulk tools
- Select tracks and click Download to export them together. See Download audio from the admin.
- Publish or unpublish an album and all of its tracks from Albums.
- Add a release’s tags to all of its tracks with a reimport of your metadata CSV. See Import metadata.
