What’s new

User facing changes to the Mercury admin, newest first. The admin shows the latest of these in the What’s new dialog (user menu → What’s new) the first time you sign in after a release.

August 2026

  • Pitches: the new share link dialog opens on top of the pitch panel. See Pitches.

July 2026

  • Labels: a Published switch on the label panel controls the label page. See Labels.
  • Pitches: share codes. Create links with optional expiry, download access and group bypass; copy or delete existing links.
  • Transactions: download, generate or regenerate the licence PDF for each licence on a transaction. See Transactions and licences.
  • Track search shows the version title next to the track title so versions can be told apart.

June 2026

  • Brand settings: upload a logo and favicon on Settings → General.
  • Download dialog redesigned for single and multi track exports. See Download audio from the admin.
  • Subpublishing pages show release codes instead of slugs, and ingestion badges distinguish original from subpublished content.
  • Tag browsing in the tracks, albums and playlists filters. See Tags.
  • Counts and links: album counts on labels; track and album counts on composers, artists and publishers; collections tables show where each item appears, with links back from the tracks page.
  • Album Published state is saved when creating an album; searching within one album shows an album preview above the results.
  • Consistent delete confirmations everywhere, and lists refresh after a delete.
  • Improved batch edit layout and faster tag list refresh.

April 2026

  • Unblock users who are locked out after too many failed sign ins. See Reset a password or unblock a user.
  • Tag category reordering on its own page. See Tag order.
  • Long tag names truncate cleanly; chapter buttons show whether a chapter exists.

  • Pre-approved email domains skip approval when the pending users flow is on. See Access settings.

  • Notification preferences: choose which events send email alerts.
  • Multiselect actions on albums and pending users.
